A DOSE OF SWEETNESS

Today, we had our Monthly Performance Review (MPR) via Microsoft
office team and it was a long meeting.

As the meeting progressed, the public power supply went off, after a while the
inverter went off too and
I was in partial darkness with sparse lighting from the window close by.

My ever loving 3-year-old, ran through the hallway and saw me seated in the
dark area with a laptop and
Ear plug on; then the following conversation below ensued:

Seddie: Mummy, it is dark in here?
Mummy: I know
Seddie:  What are u doing?
Mummy: I am in a meeting
Seddie:  Okay!  Come sit at the anteroom, there is light
there (it is usually brighter there)
Mummy: Okay my love

Then he ran off..

You would say – O! such a sweet boy!

But I saw it differently.

Being the children’s primary caregiver these past few weeks afforded me the
opportunity to know them a little more.

I have come to identity, understand and appreciate the different
personalities, temperaments, creativity and
mischief  they all
display.

Seddie’s personality clearly shown through today; he unconsciously places the
comfort of other’s above his.

Every time he asks for a drink or snack, I can guess what sentence will follow
– “Mummy, can I get some for my sisters”.
Not to mention every time I serve his meal, he will ask for his sisters’
portions.

In this season, I have also come to recognise the values and virtue my paid
assistance has instilled in my kids and
I am so thankful to God for the gift of her.

This further confirms my conviction that we all need ‘godly
helps’ or a  ‘community of godly helps’
in raising
 our children. Community here
entails more than one person; most people are blessed to have members of their
extended
family contributing to
their children’s upbringing.
May God always send us ‘godly help’ when we ask.

So today, I am grateful for the gift of thoughtful and considerate kids, who at
a tender age give

thought to my comfort and welfare.

Look around you, what are you thankful for?

http://wieliczko.eu The title on the front cover of my
publication came out darker compared to I anticipated, and was moved a lot more to the left than I assumed.

Its like you learn my thoughts! You appear to know so much approximately this, like you wrote the e-book in it
or something. I think that you just could do with some p.c.

to power the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is great
blog. An excellent read. I will definitely be back.
